    100 Pdr. Parrott Rifle

This 100 Pdr. is shown in 1864 at Fort Totten in the northeastern section of the ring of forts surrounding Washington, DC. Serving the landlocked seacoast gun are the officers and gun crew of companies A and B of the 3rd. Massachusettes Heavy Artillery. This gun fired on General Jubal Early`s Confederate Army during the war when that army attacked nearby Fort Stevens.
